Challenge: Creating a Winning Trade Show Strategy

GES, a large company that provides exhibition and event services nationally, was looking for a way to draw traffic to their trade show. The theme of the event was “the power of 5,” which stood for the five core competitive advantages of working with GES.

Solution: Awesome Trade Show Promotional Items That Worked Overtime

After talking at length with the client, we came up with a winning idea: an energy drink promotion. Not only did it tie in well with the theme, but energy drinks are popular with all age groups and have seen an increase in popularity in general over the past few years.

Here's a snapshot of the campaign:

  • We used the energy drink in a direct mail campaign as well as at the trade show booth. Through our awesome vendors, we produced a custom container featuring GES and “the power of 5.”
  • We also created custom packaging for the direct mail campaign so it really "popped." We placed the can in a tube with a four-color process wrap and black rubber end pieces along with a letter inviting people to the event.
  • GES sales people also gave away the cans at the GES booth, which helped remind attendees about the “power of 5” energy theme, long after the show was over.

Results: A VERY Happy Customer
